OUR STORY
We didn't start a business.
We shared a home.
It started the way most good things do not with a plan, but with a place that made it impossible to leave.
Playa Grande has a way of doing that. Wide, protected coastline. Sunrise over the mountains. Howler monkeys in the trees. Surf that breaks the same way every morning. After 25 years, it still surprises us.
What began as a personal connection to this corner of Costa Rica gradually became a calling. We watched visitors arrive wide-eyed and leave changed and we realized we could be a meaningful part of that. Not as a faceless rental company, but as neighbors who happen to have extraordinary homes to share.
THE PLACE
A coastline worth protecting
Playa Grande sits within Las Baulas Marine National Park which means no high rises, no overdevelopment, no noise beyond the waves and the wildlife. It's one of the last stretches of Pacific coast that feels genuinely wild and genuinely peaceful at the same time.
That's not an accident. It's protected. And it's the reason we're here, and the reason our guests return.
THE PROPERTIES
Homes built with intention
We didn't choose our properties from a listing. We built and selected them carefully the layouts, the finishes, the locations relative to the beach, the orientation for the sunset. Every decision was made by people who would also sleep there.
Casa Las Olas was designed for flexibility: three independent casitas that can host an intimate couple or an entire extended family. Casa Victoria was built for the view ocean and mountain from every social space, a rancho for group gatherings, and a pool that faces west.
